Maple Leaf Rag modes

Scott Joplin's iconic Maple Leaf Rag has been in the public domain for decades and therefore is available for anyone to use in any manner they desire. I thought I would try an experiment of altering the A flat and D flat major scales in the work to those of the Greek modes. Of course, the original version is in the Greek Ionian mode so that leaves the Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, and Locrian modes to deal with.  As it turned out, the only viable  modes were the Dorian and Mixolydian as most of the others produced a cacophony of clashing dissonance. The Lydian mode turned out to be the same as playing the original in A flat but with an E flat key signature and with the D natural sounding here and there like a misplayed note. Of the two I posted I think the Dorian is the nicer.
